Job summary

Intel Corporation in the United States (Arizona, Phoenix area) is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance/Quality Control Manager for its Fab Construction Enterprise to oversee the site construction quality assurance program and related quality systems across the project portfolio.

You will manage 3rd party inspection firms, review QA plans, ensure conformance to Intel Master Construction Specifications, and drive cost forecasting and efficiency improvements with trades and project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or Engineering degree or related field.
• 4+ years of work experience (for a Bachelor's) in Construction Management or Quality Assurance/Quality Control or related technical discipline.
• 3+ years of work experience (for a Master's) in Construction Management or Quality Assurance/Quality Control or related technical discipline.
• 6+ years of experience in Construction Management, Construction Quality Assurance/Quality Control.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a total and complete Construction Quality Management Plan.
• Develop a 3rd party resource plan including QAR firm, high purity analytical test firm, Exhaust Test & Balance firm, Special Inspection Agencies.
• Review 3rd party Timecards and monthly billing; approve Quality Assurance Plans and Construction Project Execution Plans.
• Ensure contractors perform to quality assurance plans and meet contracted metrics; oversee 3rd party inspections and SOWs.
• Quality management by walking around onsite; participate in QIA when needed.
• Work with cross-site VF teams to drive BKMS, learnings, and standardization across the Virtual Factory.
