Leidos’ Undersea Systems Division in San Diego, CA seeks a QA/QC Manager to lead a Quality Management System across multi-disciplinary projects for naval sensors and unmanned systems. The role requires bridging rapid R&D with controlled, repeatable production, writing SOPs, and ensuring DoD/Navy compliance while guiding cross-functional teams under aggressive schedules.

You will mentor staff, manage risk, and coordinate with Production Leads and SMEs to sustain mission readiness and mission

Qualifications

• 7+ years in QA/QC management within the Defense/high-tech manufacturing sector.
• Experience supporting integrated R&D prototypes and production hardware.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering; CQE/CQA and Six Sigma preferred.

Responsabilités

• Develop SOPs, WIs, test plans, FMEAs and related quality documentation.
• Bridge R&D to production with scalable quality gates and process controls.
• Audit and document deviations, root cause analyses, and corrective actions.
