Leidos’ Undersea Systems Division in San Diego, CA seeks a QA/QC Manager to lead the establishment and enforcement of a comprehensive QMS across R&D to production for vehicle systems and sensor payloads, interfacing with NIWC Pacific. The role requires designing SOPs, risk-based controls, and rigorous verification plans with a secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of QMS theory and practical implementation in low-rate production.
• Familiar with Navy/DoD standards and industry best practices.
• Experience drafting SOPs, WIs, test plans, FMEAs, and traceability matrices.

Responsabilités

• Develop and standardize processes; create SOPs, WIs, test plans and acceptance criteria.
• Oversee QA/QC framework for vehicle systems and sensor payloads.
• Lead QA training and cross-functional mediation; manage risk and SPOFs.
• Perform internal audits and maintain auditable deviations and corrective actions.
