Suffolk Construction in Cedar Rapids, IA seeks a Senior QA/QC Manager to lead project quality assurance across the full lifecycle. You will manage budgets, schedules, documentation, and contractual obligations with trade partners, purchase orders, and logs, driving risk management and quality performance.

Successful candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field and 15–20 years of QA/QC leadership on large-scale facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related discipline.
• 15–20 years of construction quality management experience.
• Experience as QA/QC Manager on large commercial, industrial, or mission-critical facilities projects.
• Ability to ensure codes, standards, job specs, and procedures are met.

Responsibilities

• Guarantee quality of work and meet contractual quality requirements.
• Represent Suffolk with owners, architects, consultants, government authorities, vendors and subcontractors.
• Establish strong stakeholder relationships to resolve quality issues.
• Monitor and update QA/QC plans and punch lists.
• Plan and conduct internal quality audits and site inspections.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of Quality Systems.
• Communicate quality requirements to key personnel.
