Job summary

Chase Corporation in Hickory, NC, is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to oversee a division-wide IATF16949 and ISO9001 compliant quality system. You will ensure products meet customer specifications and lead QA/QC initiatives across manufacturing and laboratory environments.

As the QA expert for the site, you will staff and train QA/QC personnel, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate with R&D for new product implementations, using analytical methods and SPC data to deliver reliable

Qualifications

• Five years of IATF 16949 experience in manufacturing.
• Proven experience leading the QA/QC function.
• Strong analytical chemistry background.
• Leadership to staff and train QA/QC personnel.

Responsibilities

• Ensures product quality through analytical test protocols on materials.
• Leads inspection to disposition qualified materials for production.
• Links plans and analytical chemistry capabilities to quality objectives.
• Identifies and reports quality problems using SPC data.
• Recommends corrective actions with cross-functional teams.
• Applies 8D, 5-Why, FMEA, GR&R and other methods.
• Supports ERP system implementation and improvements.
• Reviews documentation to ensure product quality.
• Writes quality plans, PPAPs, procedures and work instructions.
• Liaisons with R&D for new product implementations.
