Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering.
• PE license.
• 15 years of heavy civil construction inspection experience.
• Understanding of construction systems, materials and equipment.
• Experience representing contractor/owner interests.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Flexible hours for on-site observations.
• Ability to climb ladders and work at elevated locations.

Responsibilities

• Manage project construction QA programs.
• Oversee QA testing and inspection; coordinate resources for QA on a daily/weekly basis.
• Provide training to ensure quality procedures via pre-activity meetings and on-site reviews.
• Ensure all QA staff have appropriate training and certification.
• Verify sampling/testing personnel have appropriate training and certification.
• Maintain an NCR log.
• Maintain utility relocations inspection information.
• Develop and maintain lab equipment lists, calibration data, and inspection dates.
• Schedule Hold Points for audits over the project duration.
• Coordinate with owner QA verification testing, inspection, and Independent Assurance requirements.
