CodeRoad is seeking a Senior QA Manual Engineer to own the quality assurance strategy, test planning, and manual execution for mission-critical applications. You will drive system reliability with comprehensive test plans across web, mobile, and API layers and collaborate with automation engineers to transition suitable test cases to automation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of dedicated experience in software quality assurance with a strong focus on manual testing.
• Deep expertise in functional, regression, boundary, exploratory, and acceptance testing across web and mobile.
• Strong experience testing RESTful APIs using tools like Postman, Charles Proxy, or Swagger.
• Exposure to automation concepts to bridge manual and automated testing efforts.
• Proficiency with Jira, Zephyr, TestRail and SQL for data validation.
• Advanced English proficiency for collaboration with US-based clients.
• Experience in nearshore/offshore client-facing startup cultures.

Responsibilities

• Design, document, and execute structured test plans, test cases, and edge-case scenarios for complex software applications.
• Perform thorough functional, regression, integration, and API testing to ensure robust software delivery.
• Log, track, and prioritize defects with clear reproduction steps, driving root-cause analysis with developers.
• Identify candidates for test automation and assist in defining test flows for automated script transition.
• Elevate team output through test reviews, risk assessments, and mentoring mid-level/junior QA engineers.
