Job summary

Remote Office is seeking a Senior QA Engineer (Manual + Automation) for a fully remote role. You will cover test planning, manual and automated testing, API validation, and accessibility across web and SaaS products. Strong communication with developers and stakeholders is essential.

Requirements include 5+ years QA, hands-on testing, and knowledge of Playwright/Cypress/Selenium/Jest/Vitest; experience with Postman/Insomnia and Jira/Trello/GitHub in Agile environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional QA experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in Manual Testing and test case management.
• Solid understanding of Automated Testing and automation frameworks.
• Practical experience with Postman, Insomnia, or similar API testing tools.
• Experience with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Jest, or Vitest.
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum teams and tools such as Jira, Trello, or GitHub.
• Good understanding of web applications, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript behaviour.
• Experience testing across browsers and multiple devices.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to clearly explain testing decisions, findings, and technical issues.

Responsibilities

• Review requirements, user stories, and designs to understand testing requirements; create test plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria.
• Perform functional, exploratory, regression, and end-to-end testing; identify, document, and track defects.
• Test REST APIs and webhooks; validate data, content updates, and database changes; conduct regression testing before releases.
• Create, maintain, and execute automated UI and API tests; build reusable regression tests; integrate with CI/CD.
• Test across Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge and across desktop, tablet, iOS, and Android; perform accessibility checks.
