Job summary

Hard Rock Digital is seeking an experienced Senior Manual QA Engineer to ensure QA across authentication, account management, promotions, loyalty, and geolocation. You will test web, mobile, API, and backend systems with hands-on testing and AI-assisted tooling, owning testing strategies for complex features.

You will mentor junior QA engineers, collaborate with Engineering and Product teams, and contribute to QA process improvements while validating end-to-end player journeys.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software QA experience with a strong focus on manual testing.
• Experience testing web and mobile apps in complex production environments.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA best practices.
• Experience testing APIs using Postman or Swagger.
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging across frontend and backend systems.
• Familiarity with DevTools, Charles Proxy, Proxyman, and emulators.
• Ability to write SQL queries for validation and troubleshooting.
• Experience integrating AI-assisted tools into QA workflows.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of testing efforts.
• Strong collaboration within Agile teams.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all stages of the SDLC to ensure product quality and release readiness.
• Review requirements to develop test strategies and coverage.
• Design, maintain, and execute test plans and test cases across web, mobile, API, and backend systems.
• Conduct regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing for critical journeys.
• Identify, document, track, and help troubleshoot defects through resolution.
• Assess release risk and provide QA recommendations for complex features.
• Mentor junior/mid-level QA engineers on testing practices.
• Use AI-assisted tools to improve test coverage and efficiency.
• Contribute to QA process improvements and tooling.
