Prominent is recruiting a Manual Software Tester/QA Lead to support our client’s QA team in Omaha, NE. The role focuses on ensuring software quality through robust test strategies, automation, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced services environment.

Responsibilities include leading QA delivery teams, defining test plans, defect management, and coordinating with executives on risk and roadmap, while mentoring teammates in QA best practices.

Qualifications

• 4+ year leadership experience in Quality Assurance and Testing.
• Strong communication skills, able to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Experience leading QA delivery teams (onshore/offshore) and coordinating multi-portfolio programs.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps, and testing in Agile and Waterfall environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA delivery team (onshore / offshore) and direct testing across streams and portfolios.
• Define and drive Test Strategy, Plans, Defect Management, and Test Automation.
• Execute planning and automation across programs with SDLC & Agile practices.
• Report testing statuses, risks, and roadmaps to Senior Leadership.
• Mentor QA team on best practices, processes, and testing techniques.
