Job summary

Nationwide IT Services, NIS, is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Manager to establish and maintain processes to evaluate IT systems, software, and associated documentation for a potential opportunity. This role plans and directs QA across the software lifecycle and provides SME guidance to resolve complex technical problems in a fully remote federal engagement.

Qualifications

• At least five years of QA/QC experience on IT systems.
• Experience with verification/validation, software testing and integration, and metrics used to assess software quality.
• Ability to establish software/documentation evaluation processes, develop QA plans, determine QA resources, and conduct lifecycle reviews.
• Ability to apply technical subject matter knowledge to specialized solutions and resolve complex problems.
• Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.
• DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification, Category IAT Level II.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain processes for evaluating software and its documentation.
• Develop software quality assurance plans and identify resources for IT quality control.
• Maintain the required level of quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Conduct formal and informal reviews at lifecycle points, document findings, and support resolution of quality issues.
• Apply verification/validation, testing, integration, and software metrics to assess software quality.
• Apply subject matter knowledge to high-level analysis, design, development, modeling, and implementation.
• Resolve specialized technical problems using deep subject knowledge.
• Support specialized solutions in environmental, scientific, maintenance/repair, and logistics areas.
