Job summary

Regions Financial Corporation is seeking an experienced Software Quality Assurance Lead to support the application development organization by shaping the test strategy and coordinating testing across multiple projects and teams.

The role involves leading QA activities, defining metrics, and partnering with automation teams. On-site work is required in Birmingham, AL, with strong preference for Birmingham.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and four (4) years of quality or related experience, or High School Diploma or GED and eight (8) years of quality or related experience.
• Project management experience preferred and familiarity with Regions’ testing standards.
• Experience with test automation and test management tools such as Azure DevOps, qTest, Jira or ALM.
• Ability to design test strategies and coordinate testing activities across teams.

Responsibilities

• Leads Regions' projects from a QA standpoint, coordinating with PMs, development teams, and business units.
• Coordinates testing activities, resource and funding requirements.
• Designs the test strategy and test planning for the project or application.
• Coordinates test planning, creation, and execution.
• Provides test management guidance and defines QA metrics.
