Job summary

SteerBridge, Inc. seeks an experienced Corporate Quality Assurance Lead to own software QA across its full portfolio. The role ensures alignment with System Design Documentation and Product Owner priorities, and maintains testing frameworks, libraries, and reporting for engineers.

The QA Lead will engage in cross-team discussions, triage releases, and uphold quality standards while mentoring engineers and championing a customer-service culture.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software testing, including performance and load testing.
• Deep familiarity with test framework internals or advanced topics in Pytest, Cypress, Playwright, or TestNG.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Node, TypeScript, or Python.
• Strong proficiency in Linux system administration and shell scripting.
• Experience validating that implementations align with System Design Documentation and Product Owner priorities and requirements.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.

Responsibilities

• QA Strategy & Framework Ownership: Own SteerBridge's software QA strategy across products and platforms.
• Compliance Validation: Verify implementations reflect System Design Documentation and PO priorities, meeting standards before release.
• Framework Engineering: Develop extensions and plugins to expand testing capabilities.
• Tooling & Enablement: Build tools to simplify testing for engineers.
• Cross-Team Bridging: Create reusable QA components and libraries.
• Customer Service Culture: Support technical calls and maintain a professional QA posture.
• Prototyping & Innovation: Explore new test vectors and stay current with trends.
• Mentorship: Guide junior engineers and promote continuous improvement.
