Job summary

Simtra BioPharma Solutions (Simtra) is seeking a Sr. Quality Inspector (Line Operations) in Bloomington, Indiana, to join the Finishing Quality Assurance Team. The role focuses on maintaining acceptable quality levels (AQL) for GMP products on finishing lines and making risk-based quality decisions.

Working hours are Monday-Friday 2:45p-11:15p, with overtime including nights, weekends, and holidays. Strong teamwork, safety, and SISPQ principles are expected in this role.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook and the ability to use enterprise software (D365, Veeva, ROBAR).

Responsibilities

• Monitor product quality through the performance of AQL inspections.
• Perform unit and packaging level visual inspections to ensure conformance with specifications.
• Perform required calculations for AQL Sampling Plans based on ANSI Standards.
• Provide Quality Assurance support on the production lines.
• Crosstrain on the basic job skills for both QA Label Control and QA Warehouse Technician and all other cross training as deemed appropriate by management.
