Job summary

Simtra BioPharma Solutions in Bloomington, IN, is seeking a Sr. Quality Inspector (Line Operations) for 2nd shift to ensure AQL and GMP compliance on finishing lines.

The role requires overseeing visual inspections and participating in risk-based quality decisions to uphold SISPQ standards. The position reports to the Finishing Quality Assurance Supervisor and involves overtime, weekend, and holiday work as needed on a Monday–Friday schedule, 2:45p–11:15p.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook and enterprise software (D365, Veeva, ROBAR).

Responsibilities

• Monitor product quality through the performance of AQL inspections.
• Perform unit and packaging level visual inspections to ensure conformance with specifications.
• Perform required calculations for AQL Sampling Plans based on ANSI Standards.
• Provide Quality Assurance support on the production lines.
• Crosstrain on the basic job skills for QA Label Control and QA Warehouse Technician and cross training as deemed by management.
