Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 4 years of quality assurance inspection experience.
• Knowledge of paint thickness and related testing.
• Geometric dimensioning and tolerance (GD&T) skills needed.
• CMM programmer and operator experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide complex first article reports.
• Inspect, test, or measure CNC machined parts for conformance to specifications.
• Measure dimensions using CMMs, calipers, gauges, or micrometers.
• Read blueprints, work orders, and part lists to verify specs.
• Record inspection data and create data packages (FAI).
• Convert inspection data into FAI reports via Net-Inspect or AS9102 forms.
• Discard non-conforming materials or parts.
• Operate and troubleshoot CMM equipment and software.
• Develop simple inspection programs from drawings or models.
• Communicate findings with internal and external customers.
• Perform paint thickness testing as required.
• Collect samples for testing and validation.
• Write inspection reports with results and recommendations.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas and equipment.
• Follow all safety rules and export control requirements.
