Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineering Lead Associate to join the Corporate Quality organization in Reston/Herndon. The role focuses on ensuring proposal quality, compliance, and responsiveness, authoring QMPs/QASPs, and reviewing SLAs to support successful contract pursuits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of PM, systems engineering, or quality assurance experience; or 3+ years with a Master's degree.
• 9+ years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Experience in proposal development and quality assurance in gov contracting or commercial environments.
• Experience authoring Quality Management Plans (QMPs) or similar quality docs.
• Strong editing, analytical, and attention-to-detail capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Author and maintain Quality Management Plans (QMPs) and Quality Assurance Surveillance Plans (QASPs) for proposals and contracts.
• Review SLAs for feasibility, measurability, and compliance with RFP/RFQ requirements.
• Edit proposal responses for clarity, accuracy, and compliance with requirements.
• Collaborate with SMEs and capture/proposal teams to strengthen written responses.
• Develop and maintain quality checklists, templates, and review matrices.
