Job summary

Jobgether SRL is seeking a Software Test Engineer based in the United States. The role focuses on driving software quality across the full SDLC, with hands-on functional testing, automation using Selenium, data validation via SQL, and defect management.

You will collaborate with developers, analysts, and Agile or Scrum teams to identify issues early and improve reliability, while incorporating security and performance testing practices.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of software testing experience.
• Hands-on testing across SDLC and multiple testing levels.
• Practical Selenium test automation experience.
• Proficient with Jira for defect tracking and communication.
• Working knowledge of SQL for data validation and testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop, organize, maintain, and execute test plans, cases, data, and results.
• Perform unit, integration, system, and regression testing across UI, backend, databases, and interfaces.
• Create and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium.
• Analyze failures, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with engineering to resolve defects.
• Document defects and testing activities in Jira and communicate status to teams.
• Apply SQL and Linux commands to validate data and environments.
• Collaborate across SDLC with Agile/Scrum teams to improve testability and reliability.
• Incorporate security and performance testing into testing activities and document findings.
