Job summary

Offshore 24/7 is hiring a QA specialist for a permanent work-from-home role supporting an Australian business. You will own QA and release-readiness across mobile and web, test builds, define acceptance criteria, run regression testing and sign off before releases.

The role requires hands-on API testing, log analysis and collaboration with global teams in Australia, India and Vietnam, using AI-assisted tools to automate repetitive testing tasks and improve quality.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of hands-on software QA experience.
• Experience testing mobile and web apps in Agile with a team of at least four developers.
• Own QA for product areas, including regression and release-readiness input.
• Hands-on API testing and log-based investigations; recreate issues.
• Clear communication of issues and evidence to developers.
• Experience automating repetitive testing with AI/agentic workflows.
• Strong written and spoken English; able to work across time zones.
• Availability to work Monday to Friday in Philippine time as needed.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end QA and release readiness across mobile and web products.
• Define acceptance criteria with product and developers before development begins.
• Plan and execute manual, exploratory and regression testing through production release.
• Investigate defects using logs and API responses; communicate findings to developers.
• Test APIs using Postman and validate system behaviour across integrations.
• Provide QA sign-off and communicate release risks, blockers and recommendations.
• Coordinate or support user acceptance testing when required.
• Use AI-assisted tools to analyze logs, generate SQL queries and understand code.
• Automate repetitive testing tasks using AI-assisted tools or automation methods.
