Job summary

Inspiration Mobility Group is seeking a Software QA professional to drive automated testing and exploratory testing efforts. This remote-eligible, hybrid role collaborates with engineers to ensure quality across features, data products, and non-deterministic elements.

You will build and maintain Playwright-based test suites, own regression testing, and contribute to shaping QA strategy as AI reshapes testing practices. Washington, DC-area office is available for in-person collaboration.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a Software QA role.
• 2+ years of experience writing JavaScript.
• 3+ years of hands-on automated testing with Playwright, Selenium or similar.
• Comfortable working with Git daily.
• Strong bug-hunting and exploratory testing skills.
• Curious about AI-assisted testing tools and where they add value.
• Bonus: experience owning CI/CD or release-related testing and planning.
• Values-driven team player aligned with company culture.

Responsibilities

• Author and maintain automated end-to-end test suites (e.g. Playwright), working closely with the engineers who built each feature, and explore AI-assisted testing tools to speed up test authoring, maintenance, and coverage analysis
• Own regression testing and give final sign-off on release candidates before they ship
• Bring creative, exploratory testing to every release, going beyond the happy path to find the edge cases and strange interactions that developers and AI agents won’t think of
• Come up with ideas for ways to test things that don’t fit neatly into an application QA box, like data products and non-deterministic features
• As you grow in the role, help shape how our QA approach evolves as AI reshapes the split between writing code and verifying it: our testing strategy, CI/CD test gates, and documentation
