Job summary

Method360 is seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to ensure products meet quality standards from design through manufacturing. You will oversee FPY, collaborate with QC inspectors, and drive corrective actions to improve overall quality.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering, 5+ years in product engineering, and at least 2 years in leadership. On-site Fort Worth, with occasional travel for supplier audits and quality reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in product engineering, including design, development, testing, and manufacturing processes.
• At least 2 years in a leadership role overseeing engineers or technicians.

Responsibilities

• Oversee quality control stages in production and monitor First Pass Yield (FPY) daily.
• Ensure each step of the manufacturing process adheres to quality standards and customer requirements.
• Work closely with QC inspectors to ensure inspection processes are effective and aligned with standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address manufacturing defects and improve overall quality levels.
• Analyze data, lead team meetings, and develop solutions to eliminate or mitigate recurring issues.
• Track quality yield rates, identify trends, and implement corrective actions across all manufacturing plants.
• Respond promptly to customer complaints and ensure timely resolution to maintain customer satisfaction.
• Monitor KPIs related to quality, efficiency, and productivity, and work toward achieving defined goals.
• Collaborate with design teams to ensure product designs are compatible with manufacturing processes.
• Track and close 8D corrective actions.
• Lead and update PFMEA and PMP reports.
