Job summary

Job Juncture seeks a Quality Engineer to drive defect prevention across manufacturing in Texas. You will partner with Manufacturing Engineering and Operations to develop PFMEAs, control plans, and capability improvements, while leading corrective actions and data-driven improvements.

The role focuses on analyzing quality trends, performing SPC, and delivering dashboards that track COPQ reductions and yield improvements. Excellent collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years of manufacturing or aerospace quality experience.
• Knowledge of PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, RCCA, and Lean principles.
• ASQ CQE certification preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate PFMEAs and process risk assessments.
• Develop and maintain Control Plans.
• Lead root cause and corrective action investigations.
• Analyze quality trends, escapes, and defect data.
• Conduct statistical analysis and process capability studies.
• Develop quality dashboards and metrics.
• Drive continuous improvement and COPQ reduction initiatives.
• Support manufacturing readiness and process validation activities.
• Collaborate with Operations and Manufacturing Engineering.
• Process metrics: CCR Reduction, COPQ Reduction, Cp/Cpk, First Pass Yield Improvement.
