Job summary

Kyocera International, Inc. in San Diego, CA is hiring a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to support production and ensure high-quality output in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

The role works with the Senior Quality Manager to drive a quality-infused culture, manage multiple projects, and implement new software and equipment. Exempt and safety sensitive position with strong process knowledge required.

Qualifications

• Four-year technical degree (Engineering or technical field).
• Minimum 5 years experience in manufacturing or related training.
• Thorough understanding of company processes or related industry.
• Working knowledge of project management principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead root cause analysis and investigations across multiple projects.
• Drive improvements using 8D, 5 Whys, and corrective actions.
• Manage schedules, budgets and resources for projects.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and document project status with plant leadership.
• Evaluate and test new software/hardware as needed.
• Provide training resources for control plans, FMEAs and audits.
