Job summary

F5 Networks, Inc. is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to lead cross-functional testing of software and hardware for major product lines.

You will design advanced automated test strategies and collaborate with Software Development, Hardware Engineering, Product Management, and Manufacturing to embed quality throughout the lifecycle. You will mentor junior engineers, define the QA roadmap, and present risk and quality metrics to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years in software/hardware QA or related fields.
• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
• Experience in test framework development and PCA/System MFG testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional testing for major product lines and complex architectures.
• Establish quality standards, metrics, controls, and processes across lifecycle.
• Optimize QA processes and automated frameworks for quality and time-to-market.
• Define strategic QA roadmap with leadership alignment to product goals.
• Develop advanced automated test frameworks and tooling.
• Troubleshoot complex software/hardware defects and drive root cause resolution.
• Present data, metrics, and risk to senior management and execs.
• Mentor QA Engineers I-III on best practices and automation.
• Uphold ethics and compliance in all activities.
