Extreme Networks, Inc. in Salem, NH is seeking a Senior QA Software Engineer to prevent defects and ensure software quality across networking products.

You will design and execute test plans, develop automated tests with Selenium, Python, and JavaScript, and collaborate with the QA Engineering team to improve release quality. This role offers a rolling deadline with competitive base salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 3–8 years of hands-on software testing and QA with test automation and networking-based apps.
• Strong drive, initiative, and excellent communication in a team.
• Basic networking concepts: Network Management, TCP/IP, SNMP.
• Experience in test automation: Selenium, QTP, Python and JavaScript.
• Understanding of web services, XML, JSON, APIs and data-driven apps.
• BSCE, BSCS, BSEE or equivalent considering experience.

Responsibilities

• Debug software products through systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards.
• Develop, modify, and execute software test plans.
• Develop, modify, and execute automated test scripts.
• Maintain documentation of test results to assist debugging and modification of software.
• Analyze test results to ensure existing functionality and recommend corrective action.
• Consult with development engineers in resolution of problems.
