Jobgether SRL is seeking a Senior QA Engineer II for a fully remote role in the United States. You will lead quality across healthcare-focused products, shaping risk-based test strategies and strengthening automation while guiding cross‑functional teams.

You will own QA standards, perform manual and automated testing, and drive improvements through the product lifecycle. The role requires mentoring colleagues and fostering a culture of shared quality ownership.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software QA experience with leadership across cross-functional teams.
• Strong QA methodologies, test design techniques, and risk-based testing for complex systems.
• Solid understanding of web and mobile technologies, APIs, and system dependencies.
• Hands-on testing of native or cross‑platform iOS and Android apps across devices and OS versions.
• Experience testing REST APIs and backend services.
• Proficiency in at least one language such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or Java.
• Experience developing or improving test automation frameworks and CI/CD integration.
• Knowledge of accessibility testing and WCAG, including tools like Axe or Lighthouse.
• Experience with Jira in Agile environments and defect/test management.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills; able to explain risks clearly.
• Proven ability to mentor colleagues and drive quality improvements.

Responsibilities

• Embed quality throughout the development lifecycle with product, design, and engineering partners.
• Create risk-based testing strategies from requirements and architecture insights.
• Define and improve QA standards, test plans, cases, and documentation.
• Perform manual and automated testing across web and mobile apps, APIs, and UI.
• Test native and cross‑platform mobile apps across devices and networks.
• Advance test automation standards and integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Test REST APIs and backend services for correctness and reliability.
• Lead root cause analysis and preventive actions for defects and quality risks.
• Communicate test strategies and release readiness to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Identify systemic quality issues and coordinate practical improvements to completion.
• Mentor engineers and strengthen QA capabilities across teams.
• Evaluate accessibility against WCAG standards using manual/automated methods.
• Contribute to performance and security testing aligned with product risks.
