Job summary

Meazure Learning in Durham, NC is seeking a Senior QA Engineer I to enhance a high‑performing QA program and lead QA engineers across all phases of the software testing cycle in an Agile environment.

You will create test plans, execute tests, track defects, and collaborate with Software Engineers and Product Owners to ensure quality and timely delivery, while developing and refining product standards and documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in a software product/vendor environment.
• Familiar with Selenium, JMeter, Jira and accessibility testing tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate detailed, comprehensive and well‑structured test plans
• Help manage and support testing processes
• Develop and implement product quality standards
• Devise innovative ways to define and continually improve QA and testing processes
• Perform QA testing to ensure tasks are completed as documented and verify that changes are bug free
• Demonstrate visible progress on work and cross functional behavior to ensure quality, on time delivery
• Engage and consult with Software Engineers and Product Owners to communicate risks and issues and clear impediments that have the potential to impact the delivery schedule
• Create, contribute to and maintain product documentation, ensuring high level of specification completeness, quality and consistency
• Actively engage in the review of documentation and critically assess the existing standards and documentation set, fostering continuous improvement
• Incorporate approved improvements into the specification and documentation set on an on‑going basis and update standards
