Dev.Pro, a US-based outsourced software development company, seeks a Senior Test Automation Engineer to own end-to-end QA for a large blockchain platform. You will combine manual testing with building and expanding test automation across backend services and blockchain integrations.

Join a remote-first team working across 55+ countries. You will define QA strategies, build automation, and collaborate with engineering and business stakeholders to ensure high-quality releases.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in QA/SDET roles across the full SDLC.
• Strong backend and non-UI test automation experience.
• Hands-on in developing, maintaining, and debugging automated tests.
• Proficiency in TypeScript/Node.js for test automation.
• Ability to define QA strategies, test plans, and quality gates from the ground up.
• Experience testing REST APIs, JSON‑RPC and gRPC interfaces.
• Familiarity with blockchain concepts including wallets and transactions.
• Experience with CI/CD and Docker-based test environments.

Responsabilités

• Review business requirements and technical documentation to understand system functionality and testing needs.
• Manually test new features and existing functionality to guide test automation efforts.
• Define and improve QA strategies, test plans, and quality gates.
• Establish testing ownership and coordinate responsibilities between QA and engineering teams.
• Work with engineering and product teams to define test coverage and acceptance criteria.
• Build and maintain automated test suites and harnesses, focusing on backend and integration testing.
• Test blockchain integrations, REST APIs, JSON‑RPC endpoints, MCP servers, and related functionality.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and monitor quality gates.
• Investigate and troubleshoot issues across distributed systems and blockchain components.
