Job summary

Halborn Inc is seeking a QA Engineer for remote locations to lead test automation across internal platforms and client products. You will design and maintain UI/API/data-layer tests, using Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, and pytest, while shaping CI/CD quality gates.

You will harness AI tooling to accelerate testing, and collaborate with security engineers on regression checks for blockchain-related systems.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years in QA engineering, SDET, or test automation with automation focus.
• Hands-on experience with modern automation frameworks (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, pytest).
• API testing experience including contract, integration, and negative-path testing (REST/GraphQL).
• CI/CD systems experience and ownership of pipeline configuration.
• Frequent use of AI coding assistants and LLM tooling in testing workflows.
• Comfort with Git, containerized environments, and reading code to test effectively.
• Excellent written communication in a distributed, asynchronous team.
• Willingness to learn blockchain, smart contracts, and cybersecurity basics.

Responsibilities

• Own the test strategy for internal engineering platforms and client products.
• Design, build, and maintain automated UI, API, and data-layer tests.
• Leverage LLM-assisted tooling to accelerate test authoring and triage failures.
• Build quality gates in CI/CD to ensure clean builds reach clients.
• Identify and automate manual QA processes and release checklists.
• Reproduce defects with clear repro steps and expected vs actual behavior.
• Integrate security regression checks into the standard pipeline with security engineers.
• Run performance, load, and reliability testing on sensitive data services.
• Define and report key quality metrics and支release readiness decisions.
