United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Senior QA Engineer for a remote-first role in Germany. You will own the test strategy, write plans, and run both manual and automated testing across UI, API, and integration.

You will work with AI-assisted tools to maintain fast, high-quality pipelines and collaborate with multiple teams. The role requires 5+ years in software testing, strong Python/JS testing skills, and experience with Playwright, Frisby, or Supertest.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software testing/QA with agile teams.
• Test automation in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript, hands-on with Playwright, Frisby, or Supertest.
• Experience using AI-assisted tools in development or testing (AI code generators, LLM-based test support).
• API testing (REST), Git, bug tracking, browser DevTools.
• Fluent English; German language skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the test strategy and keep it updated as products evolve.
• Write test plans and test cases; run manual tests (functional, regression, exploratory, UAT).
• Build and maintain automated tests across UI, API and integration.
• Keep continuous testing pipelines running; create actionable bug reports with repro steps.
• Perform regular regression cycles after major releases and UAT with stakeholders.
• Collaborate across multiple development teams to ensure quality at speed.

Your creative fieldWe are looking for a full-time, permanent Senior QA Engineer (all genders) to start as soon as possible. We live remote-first within Germany, but you have the freedom to choose whether you want to work hybrid or completely on-site due to your proximity to one of our locations.

Quality isn't a bottleneck function here – it's embedded in how we build.You'll work across multiple development teams on products that vary significantly in architecture, maturity and risk profile. The scope is wide and the technical surface is real.

QA here means jumping between contexts and figuring things out, not just executing scripts against a stable codebase.You come in before development starts: read the requirements, flag what's untestable and push back early.You own the test strategy and update it as things change – not as a document exercise, but because the products actually change.

You write test plans and test cases, run manual tests (functional, regression, exploratory, UAT) and build and maintain automated tests across UI, API and integration.We use AI tools actively: in development, in testing, in how we work day to day and we expect the same from you. That's not a trend we're chasing: it's how we stay fast without cutting corners on quality.You keep the continuous testing pipelines running and help the teams use them. When bugs come up, you write bug reports that developers can actually work with – reproduction steps, impact, everything needed to close it without a follow-up ping.Regular regression cycles after major releases are part of the job, as is running UAT with product stakeholders.
