Job summary

Textron Aviation is seeking a QA Engineer Cert Sr – ODA to perform reviews, evaluations, and inspections for aircraft, parts, and products, issuing airworthiness approvals and certificates in accordance with ODA authorizations.

You will lead and support continuous improvement, collaborate with FAA and customers, and guide the team toward a quality-focused environment, leveraging MRB/QAB systems to address non-conformances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field with 5 years of related experience, or aviation/technical degree with 10 years of experience
• Ability to obtain ODA airworthiness function code(s)
• A&P Certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Utilize drawings and specs to verify configuration of aircraft and parts
• Communicate with FAA and customers on state of condition for certification
• Demonstrate knowledge of pre/post Airworthiness activities
• Know FAA regulations and means of compliance for certification
• Make decisions impacting company objectives using business apps
• Guide team toward a quality-focused environment
