Job summary

Steer Health is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to own quality across our AI-native platform. You will test LLM-powered features, voice automation workflows, and cloud-native pipelines on GCP.

Collaborate with product, engineering, and AI teams to embed quality from the ground up. You will design and maintain automated tests with Playwright, lead QA strategy for ElevenLabs-based voice pipelines, validate Claude integrations, and build CI/CD test tooling.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in QA engineering, with 2+ years on AI or speech/pipeline systems.
• Expert Playwright skills for resilient selectors, parallel workers, and flaky tests.
• Proficient in Node.js/TypeScript and custom test tooling.
• Hands-on GCP experience with Cloud Run, GCS, and Pub/Sub.
• Experience testing Claude or other LLMs and AI API integrations.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automated test suites for web and API surfaces.
• Lead QA strategy for voice automation pipelines and TTS systems.
• Validate AI integrations (Claude) and ensure deterministic behavior across builds.
• Develop CI/CD test tooling and integrate tests into GitHub Actions or Cloud Build.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and promote testability across the platform.
