Job summary

Replicant is seeking a Lead Quality Engineer to elevate quality across its AI-powered voice platform. This hands-on leadership role shapes how testing is defined, implemented, and measured, partnering with Engineering, Product, and Delivery to create scalable quality practices.

You will build automation, improve validation tooling, and drive proactive, AI-enhanced testing across platform capabilities, configurations, and releases.

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience in QA, Quality Engineering, or SDET roles with ownership of test strategy and release quality in complex software systems.
• AI-native approach to quality engineering; leverage AI to move faster, increase coverage, reduce manual effort, and build smarter testing workflows.
• Curiosity about AI systems, conversational experiences, and testing voice-driven product behavior.
• Experience leading quality initiatives across teams and influencing engineers, product managers, and stakeholders.
• Deep knowledge of modern testing practices: automation, API/integration testing, regression strategy, and CI/CD-based quality workflows.
• Hands-on ability to build tooling, frameworks, scripts, or systems that scale quality.
• Mastery of test design, risk-based coverage, and what should be automated vs explored manually.
• Comfort using data, metrics, and analytics to evaluate quality and communicate trends.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the company-wide leader for quality engineering, shaping how quality is built into Replicant’s platform.
• Lead, mentor, and support a team of AI-enabled QA Engineers, guiding scalable quality practices.
• Lead Replicant’s AI-native quality engineering strategy to scale coverage and surface failures earlier.
• Build AI-driven testing workflows for broad, scalable validation across the platform.
• Own the quality feedback loop from dogfooding, A/B testing, customer feedback, and bug reporting.
• Partner with Product and Engineering early to improve testability and acceptance criteria.
• Build and improve automation frameworks, validation tooling, and CI/CD quality gates.
• Use AI and analytics to expand edge-case coverage and inform roadmap decisions.
