Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a senior QA Engineer for Mission Control to design and own automated system integration tests across ERP, MES, and WMS environments. You will simulate production workload, validate data flows, and ensure quality as products move from design to production.

You will apply AI-assisted testing, build observability, and partner with engineers and operations to raise quality standards and speed up release readiness across the factory floors.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering or related roles.
• Experience building automated integration or end-to-end test suites for production systems.
• Strong fluency in modern software architectures, APIs, distributed systems, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience reasoning about failures across system boundaries with debugging and incident response instincts.
• Experience with frontier AI tooling, AI coding assistants, or agentic systems.
• Ability to move between hands-on implementation and systems-level quality strategy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to influence senior engineers and stakeholders.
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and own automated system integration tests across multiple product lines.
• Simulate production workload and data to reflect real factory operations.
• Leverage AI to author, maintain, and triage tests.
• Trace failures across service, network, and vendor boundaries to the actual cause.
• Set test strategy, release readiness criteria, and quality gates for the release train.
• Build observability, instrumentation, and environment strategy for actionable signals.
• Partner with engineering teams and business partners to move quality upstream into design.
• Contribute in code, infrastructure, and tooling to improve feedback loops and production stability.
• Support launch readiness, production issue response, and post-incident follow-through.
• Set the technical standard for testing craft through review and pairing.
