IDnow is seeking a Senior QA Engineer in Rennes to lead automated testing for our AI/ML identity verification systems. You will design tests, work with data scientists and software engineers, and ensure releases are production-ready within a CI/CD framework.

You will collaborate across R&D, contribute to quality strategies, and help raise the QA bar while communicating fluently in English and French. This role offers a hybrid setup with opportunities to work across European teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of QA and test automation for complex systems.
• Hands-on Python for automation (pytest, Locust).
• Experience with AI/ML systems (model testing, data validation).
• CI/CD expertise (GitLab CI or equivalent).
• Experience in API testing (Postman, REST Assured).
• Strong root-cause analysis skills.
• Fluent in English and French.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain robust automated tests in Python.
• Debug complex AI/ML components and distributed architectures.
• Own and improve CI/CD pipelines, test deployment, and release processes.
• Collaborate with R&D to anticipate quality risks from design.
• Identify, document, and track bugs through full lifecycle.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and ensure high-quality releases.
• Share QA best practices across teams.
