Job summary

Ooma is seeking a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our SQA team. You will ensure quality, reliability, and performance of our cloud-based platform through comprehensive testing, validation, and collaboration with engineering teams.

You will define test strategies, develop plans, build and maintain lab environments, track defects, and deliver quality insights. Opportunity to work with AI-assisted testing tools in a modern QA environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience in QA engineering, including 5+ years testing VoIP, networking, or application-based solutions.
• Experience developing and executing automated tests.
• Familiarity with legacy POTS environments and related hardware.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for product functionality and performance.
• Define test strategies and provide status, risk assessments, and schedules to management.
• Build, configure, and maintain lab environments for diverse configurations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve test coverage and efficiency.
• Leverage automation and AI-assisted testing to enhance quality and productivity.
• Identify, track, and drive resolution of defects throughout the lifecycle.
• Prepare test reports and communicate quality results to stakeholders.
