Job summary

Absorb Software is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to join our remote-first team. You will perform manual and automated testing of our AI-driven learning platform, ensuring quality across web applications and integrations.

As a senior QA Analyst, you will design test plans, lead junior teammates, and develop automation scripts using TypeScript and Playwright. You will apply AI-assisted testing methods and contribute to advancing AI-DLC practices at Absorb.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a Technical field and 5+ years of experience.
• Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript with hands-on Playwright or comparable framework.
• Experience in manual and automated QA testing of web applications.
• Experience using AI coding assistants and agentic tools for test automation.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Review requirements specifications and design documents to provide feedback.
• Create detailed test plans and test cases; analyze and update existing tests.
• Lead and assist junior QA Analysts.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts using TypeScript and Playwright or similar tools.
• Use AI coding assistants and agentic tools to accelerate test authoring and maintain automation.
• Build and maintain reusable AI skills and agentic workflows for QA tasks.
• Apply spec-driven development practices to guide AI-assisted test generation.
• Design and run evals for AI-powered features and measure quality metrics.
• Configure and monitor AI observability tools to track model/agent performance.
• Identify, record, document, track, and close bugs.
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Transfer knowledge to QA team via documentation and presentations.
• Ad hoc duties as required.
