CoStar Group, a leading real estate information provider, seeks a Senior Software Engineer - Quality Engineering to elevate AI-driven testing, automation, and quality practices. The role focuses on building scalable QA frameworks, integrating AI copilots (e.g., Copilot/Claude), and driving high-coverage test strategies across SDLC.

The position is based in Richmond, VA, onsite Monday-Thursday with remote work on Fridays, offering a strong compensation package and professional growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, or related field.
• Experience with agentic engineering and AI-assisted development tools to accelerate test automation.
• Proven ability to apply AI copilots to test case generation, code review, and root-cause analysis.
• Strong working knowledge of SQL and relational database design.

Responsibilities

• Ensure products conform to business requirements, policies, and quality standards.
• Design, document, and implement testing procedures and techniques.
• Create and maintain SQA deliverables: test plans, cases, data, and reports.
• Develop functional automated tests and curate regression test suites.
• Support release management by validating readiness and coordinating go/no-go testing.
