Job summary

The position is onsite in Richmond, VA, Monday through Thursday, with work-from-home Fridays, offering a comprehensive benefits package and salary range.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, or related field from an accredited university.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools to accelerate test automation and quality workflows.
• Strong working knowledge of SQL and relational database design; proficiency with T-SQL queries.
• Experience testing mission-critical relational database applications and web-based enterprise systems.
• Ability to implement automated tests using Playwright or similar framework.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Ensures products conform to business requirements, quality standards, and procedures.
• Confirms testable systems are specified, designed and implemented.
• Supports SOX compliance through testing practices and documentation.
• Designs and maintains testing procedures and risk-based quality assessments.
• Creates test plans, cases, data, progress reports, and release documents.
• Develops automated tests and curates regression test suites.
• Validates release readiness and coordinates go/no-go decisions.
• Leverages AI-assisted tools to accelerate test design, automation, and defect triage.
