Job summary

CoStar Group is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Richmond, VA to help build our CRM platform and AI initiatives within the Sales Development team. The role blends in-office collaboration from Monday to Thursday with work-from-home on Fridays, enabling a hybrid schedule.

You will contribute to scalable web apps, RESTful APIs, and modern microservices, ensuring robust, high-quality software for a large user base and cross-functional partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required from an accredited institution.
• 6+ years of software development experience with OOP languages.
• Experience building RESTful APIs using C#.
• Proficient with Git versioning and CI/CD processes.
• Familiarity with AI technologies and adoption/development experience.

Responsibilities

• Build customer-facing web applications using React and TypeScript.
• Develop microservices and RESTful APIs with C# and .NET Core.
• Lead software design, establish standards, and perform code reviews.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and adopt best practices for the platform.
• Create comprehensive application testing procedures for tens of thousands of users.
