Granite State Manufacturing seeks a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to drive quality strategies in aerospace/defense manufacturing. The role partners with Inspection, Engineering, and Program teams to ensure contract adherence and implement advanced inspection methods.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in precision defense/aerospace inspection, strong CMM skills, and experience with AS9100D/ISO 9001 standards, NAVSEA and FAR requirements.

Qualifikationen

• Extensive aerospace/defense inspection experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (APQP, FMEA, SPC, MSA).
• Experience leading RCCA/CAPA and internal/external audits.

Aufgaben

• Develops inspection plans and QC methods within the Quality Management System.
• Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Review contracts, blueprints, and specs to determine dimensions and tolerances.
• Support raw material, receiving, and FAI inspections and process validations.
• Mentor staff on metrology standards and CMM programming.
