Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Senior QA/Automation Test Engineer to lead quality engineering initiatives and advance automation maturity within a fast-paced Agile and DevSecOps environment. The role focuses on defining testing strategy, driving automation, and embedding quality across the SDLC.

The ideal candidate leads with expertise in test automation, CI/CD, and modern testing methodologies, mentoring junior team members while ensuring scalable, secure releases for a large integrated platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical discipline.
• 7+ years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance, Test Automation, or Quality Engineering.
• Experience leading testing efforts on large-scale enterprise applications.
• Experience operating within Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or comparable delivery frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality engineering initiatives for enterprise software in an Agile/DevSecOps environment.
• Define testing strategy, automation objectives, and release-readiness criteria.
• Architect and maintain enterprise-scale automated testing frameworks across functional, API, UI, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps workflows.
