Job summary

Citi in Tampa, Florida is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer with strong test automation skills to design and implement robust automated test suites using Selenium WebDriver in Java. The role requires collaboration across development, product, and QA teams and hands-on experience with CI/CD integrations.

You will write manual and automated tests, create detailed test plans, and perform various testing types while contributing to the improvement of software quality in an agile

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 to 9 years of experience in Quality Assurance with a strong focus on test automation.
• Proficient in Selenium WebDriver with Java.
• Strong programming skills in at least one object-oriented language (Java/Python/C#).
• Experience with TestNG/JUnit/Pytest/NUnit or similar frameworks.
• Solid understanding of Page Object Model design pattern.
• Experience with CI/CD integration of automated tests.
• SQL knowledge for database validation.
• Git version control experience.
• Exploratory testing to uncover defects not covered by formal tests.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with development, product, and QA teams to define test strategies.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver in Java.
• Create and execute detailed manual test plans and test cases.
• Perform manual functional, integration, system, and regression testing.
• Conduct exploratory testing to uncover defects and usability issues.
• Build and maintain test automation frameworks (POM, TestNG/JUnit, Cucumber).
• Execute automated tests, analyze results, and report defects.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
• Perform API testing with Postman/Swagger and validate data using SQL.
