Job summary

Northramp LLC is seeking a detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer to deliver secure, reliable software in a federal environment. You will design and evolve automated tests across cloud-based applications, ensuring quality, security, accessibility, and performance for releases.

You will collaborate with software engineers, DevSecOps, product owners, and program leadership in an Agile setting, contributing to test planning, metrics, and audit support. Remote role with occasional onsite activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/SE or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years in software QA with focus on test automation.
• Proficient in Java, Python, or JavaScript for automation.
• Experience with Selenium, Katalon, JMeter, Axe, and Postman for automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated tests for functional, regression, integration, API, performance, security, and accessibility testing.
• Build and enhance scalable test automation frameworks and testing standards.
• Translate requirements and acceptance criteria into traceable test cases and automated scenarios.
• Apply test-driven development and shift-left testing across the SDLC.
• Validate functionality across development, integration, staging, and production-like environments.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and establish automated quality gates.
