Job summary

Revvity is seeking an Sr. Software QA Automation Engineer to design and implement automated tests using Playwright with TypeScript for scalable enterprise software.

You will work in a remote India setup within an agile scrum team, crafting test plans, executing cases, and delivering clear QA reports. You will become the user expert, translating manual test cases into robust automation, collaborating with manual testers, and driving quality across UI and API layers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a science-based field.
• 7+ years of experience qualifying high-volume, scalable enterprise software.
• Strong experience in agile/scrum environments.
• Proficient in Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Solid QA lifecycle knowledge and testing best practices.
• Experience with Jira and Zephyr for test management.
• ≥5 years of automation with Playwright, Selenium, or similar tools.
• Experience with API testing and test framework development.
• UI automation using Playwright or Selenium.
• Transforming manual tests into automated scripts.
• Strong documentation and defect tracking skills.

Responsibilities

• Design test plans and write/execute test cases for functional and performance testing with Playwright/TS.
• Collaborate in scrum planning, estimation, and verification of user stories.
• Develop domain expertise and automation expertise for assigned areas.
• Create automated test scripts with Playwright and TypeScript.
• Communicate status, issues, and metrics regularly to the team.
• Adhere to Revvity Signals practices and quality guidelines.
• Produce high-quality test summary reports with clear content.
• Act as user advocate to improve product quality and experience.
• Integrate automated tests with manual testing in cross-functional work.
