Job summary

Revvity, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Software QA Automation Engineer to design and execute automated tests using Playwright with TypeScript, working within a scrum team to ensure quality at scale.

You will develop domain expertise, translate manual test cases into automation, and contribute to robust test reports, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve product quality. The role requires strong QA methodologies, API/UI testing proficiency, and experience with Jira/Zephyr.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Science
• 7+ years of experience qualifying high-volume, scalable enterprise software
• Excellent experience in an agile/scrum environment
• Excellent working knowledge of Windows/Linux operating systems
• Excellent understanding of Quality Assurance life cycle, methodologies, and best practices
• Excellent knowledge in test case management and bug tracking systems such as Jira, Zephyr
• Minimum 5 years of experience with automation tools like Playwright, TestComplete, Selenium
• Experience with databases and data platforms
• Experience testing systems at a large scale is a plus
• Experience with developing API test frameworks
• Experience with Playwright and Selenium for UI automation
• Excellent experience transforming manual test cases into automated test cases
• Experience in test documentation, defect analysis, tracking, and reporting
• Java, .NET, or TypeScript development experience required

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing test plans and writing/executing test cases for functional and performance testing using Playwright with TypeScript
• Work with the scrum team including planning, estimating, and verifying user stories and acceptance criteria
• Develop domain expertise and contribute to automation architecture
• Design and implement automated test scripts using Playwright with TypeScript
• Communicate status, metrics, and issues clearly and regularly
• Understand and comply with Revvity Signals practices
• Assist in creating high-quality test summary reports
• Become a user expert on Revvity products and advocate for customer issues
• Create and execute integrated automated test cases with Playwright alongside manual testers
