Job summary

Valtech is seeking a senior QA automation engineer to own the Playwright framework, design scalable UI and API tests, and ensure reliable test automation across projects.

You will drive the testing strategy, mentor junior team members, and collaborate with global teams to raise automation standards and reliability in fast-paced delivery environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in test automation; 2+ years hands-on Playwright and TypeScript.
• Strong command of Playwright core model, with experience in BDD and CI/CD.
• Able to diagnose flaky tests and coach colleagues.
• Experience designing scalable automation frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain Playwright automation frameworks for UI and API testing.
• Diagnose flaky tests and coach teammates; leverage AI coding assistants where appropriate.
