Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior SDET – QA Automation (Playwright & Selenium) to design and implement scalable test automation that improves software quality and accelerates releases. You will collaborate with Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, DevOps, and others to ensure thorough test coverage.

In this role, you will build frameworks using Playwright and Selenium, execute end-to-end testing, and integrate tests with CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on Playwright and/or Selenium test automation.
• Proficiency in Java for framework development.
• Experience with AccelQ, Cypress, and Cucumber.
• Strong understanding of functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Experience in test case design, execution, defect management, and QA best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks.
• Build and execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end test automation across applications.
• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing.
• Analyze test results and drive timely defect resolution with development teams.
• Improve coverage and testing efficiency through process improvements.
