Job summary
Sikor Sikich seeks a Senior Test Automation Engineer to join a US-remote Agile team delivering IT solutions. You will be the sole QA automation resource, designing, developing, and maintaining Playwright-based tests and frameworks, collaborating with developers and BAs to ensure high-quality products.
Role requires 3+ years in Playwright, TypeScript/JavaScript, and experience with DevOps pipelines. Ability to work independently, communicate clearly, and thrive in a fast-paced environment is
Qualifications
- Min 3 years of Playwright UI/E2E test automation experience.
- Min 3 years of TypeScript/JavaScript experience.
- Experience with Agile DevOps and Microsoft DevOps tools.
- Design and implement scalable test automation frameworks using Page Object Model.
- Experience with cross-browser testing and CI/CD (Azure DevOps).
Responsibilities
- Conduct an initial assessment of existing test processes and identify automation opportunities.
- Design automation components with a standard framework across DevOps stages.
- Review user stories and create test cases, scripts and suites.
- Collaborate with developers and analysts to define test strategies and criteria.
- Develop automation components with data from external sources.
- Execute scripts, log issues and support resolution.
- Support test automation planning and estimation.
