Job summary

BlackCube Labs is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer for a 06+ months contract in Irving, TX onsite. The role requires building and maintaining automation for Android, web, API, and load testing, using Appium, Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Karate, REST Assured, JMeter, Gatling, and k6.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of QA automation experience.
• 6+ years building and maintaining automation frameworks for Android, web, API, and load testing.
• Android automation using Appium/UIAutomator2 with performance profiling.
• Strong programming in JavaScript or Java with API automation focus.
• Experience with Karate, REST Assured, JMeter, Gatling or k6.
• Experience in MongoDB testing and data validation.
• Familiar with AI-assisted coding tools like GitHub Copilot.
• Test-data management and data-mocking expertise.
• API mocking with WireMock or MockServer.
• Experience testing AWS cloud-native platforms.
• Bachelor's degree in CS or related; cloud certs beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Identify business and technical risks while contributing to user story acceptance criteria.
• Define, review, and execute test strategies, plans, and cases across requirements.
• Design and build automation frameworks for Android, web, API, and load testing.
• Automate Android workflows and perform device/performance profiling.
• Validate device capabilities and develop reusable hardware-test tools.
• Perform API functional, performance, and load testing with relevant tools.
• Integrate automated tests into Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines with clear reporting.
• Collaborate in a Scrum environment to investigate defects and drive resolution.
